PTA Board Elections Sign Up

Your PTA Elections for the 2014-2015 school year will take place at the General Assembly Meeting on May 6th, 2014 at 6:30PM in the Multi Purpose Room.

This is an incredible opportunity to make a difference in your child’s school. All positions are open for nominations. We encourage you to talk to any current board member if you have questions about what is involved. We are in need of creative, energetic and dedicated individuals to help make the 2014-2015 school year the best yet! If you are interested in any position, please complete the form below and return it to the front office by April 18th. Contact Julie Overing at President@BryantPTA.com with any questions, or the current Board members whose email addresses are provided below. Nominations may also be taken from the floor the night of the meeting.

BOX TOPS FOR EDUCATION CONTEST

PARENTS: Earn cash for our school and help your child's class win a Pizza Party!

1) CLIP BOX TOPS COUPONS
Clip Box Tops coupons from hundreds of our favorite products.  Each Box Top = 1 Classroom Point!

2) SEND BOX TOPS TO SCHOOL
Send your Clipped Box Tops coupons to school in a baggie or taped to a collection sheet labeled with student name and homeroom teacher.  Have them turned into your homeroom teacher by April 30, 2014

3) PARTY TIME
The class that collects the most Box Tops will received a Pizza Party in May!!! The winning class will be announced the first week of May.

4) OUR SCHOOL EARNS $
Each Box Top coupon redeemed is worth 10 cents for Mary Bryant Elementary!

How to prepare your Box Tops for submission to the classroom:

  • Trim your Box Tops and put them in a baggie (max 50 per bag) or fill in a collection sheet with Box Tops.
  • The full expiration date must be visible and not expired.
  • Write Student name, teacher & number of Boxt Tops on the baggie.
  • Bring them to your homeroom teacher.
  • Don't forget to ask friends & relatives to help you out!
  • Check office supplies at work too!  Boise paper and Avery are the Box Top Products.
  • Don't worry if you don't have 50, send in whatever you have...each one counts!

Box Tops & Labels for Education

This year Mary E. Bryant will be collecting Box Top coupons to raise money for our school and Labels for Education to earn free merchandise for our school. Did you know that some local schools raise thousands of dollars for their schools each year, just from clipping and submitting Box Tops? Others earn thousands of dollars in merchandise by clipping and submitting Labels for Education.


Box Top coupons and Labels for Education are on the packaging of hundreds of participating products that you probably use every day. All you need to do is cut them off of the box or can they are on, stick them in a baggie, and send them to school with your child. Be sure to put your child’s teacher’s name and grade on the baggie. Or if you like you can attach your Box Tops and Labels to the handy collection sheets that will be sent home each month.


We will be collecting Box Tops and Labels for Education all year long, but our first sub-mission deadline is at the end of October, so start saving and sending in your Box Tops and Labels for Education today!

READY READER TRAINING IS THURSDAY, SEPTEMBER 5, 2013

GOALS AND BENEFITS OF READY READER

  • A balanced format with recommended activities
  • Learn “reader’s tools” to help young readers make out the meaning of text
  • Children receive individual support which can help improve the confidence of a struggling reader
  • Personal attention from volunteers can foster an enthusiasm for reading
  • Ready Reader training is provided by SERVE and is required to participate in the Mary Bryant Ready Reader program.
You must attend the Ready Reader Training in order to volunteer in the Ready Reader Program.

If you've attended the Ready Reader Training in a prior year, you do not need to attend.

MARY Bryant Uniforms Are Available Online This Year!

Great news! We are excited to offer online uniform sales this year at http://bryantuniforms.com/. This is an efficient, convenient way to purchase your family’s uniforms. You can pick up your order at school (no shipping charges) or elect to have your family’s uniform order shipped directly to your home (for a small shipping charge). 


You have three options to order before the school year begins:

If you elect HOME DELIVERY, order and payment must be received no later than AUGUST 1st for delivery before school begins.


Frequently asked questions:

1. What is the uniform policy? How many shirts should I order? How do I know what size to order?

2. Why did the PTA change to online ordering?
Convenience. Many parents indicated that they would prefer a better way of ordering uniforms. This process is much more efficient for everyone involved.

3. Is there a shipping charge?
When you complete your order and check out, you will have the option to select home delivery or school delivery. School delivery incurs no shipping charge.  If you prefer convenient home delivery, you will be charged a shipping fee.  Once you compete your order and check out, enter your zip code in required area and press APPLY. Right below your zip code you will find all shipping options available to you. Use the drop box to choose either FREE SHIPPING (delivery to school) or any other option then click APPLY. Your choice of shipment will be reflected in your total.  

4. I want to order online and pay by check instead of using a credit card. Can I do that?
Yes, you can. Make your check payable to Logo ASAP and mail to 1911 N. US Highway 301, Suite 340, Tampa, FL 33619. Take note of the deadlines listed above. Your check must be received by the vendor on or before these deadlines. Credit card payments are secure, so feel free to use this option if it is available to you.

5. What if I want to order in person on the night of Open House like I used to?
Ordering online is very convenient and will reduce your time waiting in lines at Open House. We strongly advise you to place your order online. WE WILL HAVE A LIMITED STOCK OF UNIFORM SHIRTS ON HAND FOR PURCHASE ON THE NIGHT OF OPEN HOUSE. If you want to be guaranteed to have uniforms for the first day of school, please place your order online by the deadlines noted above.

6. I’m going to order online and pick up at the night of Open House. Will I incur a shipping charge? What should I expect?
There is no shipping charge for orders delivered to the school. If you’ve ordered online, just bring in your paid receipt. Your entire family’s order will be prepackaged for pickup. This way, your attention and time will go to where it matters most—meeting your child’s teacher! If you order online by August 1 but cannot attend Open House, we will send your child’s order home with him/her during the first few days of school.

7. My friend/neighbor has volunteered to pick up my online order for me. Is that okay?
Your order may be picked up by another individual during standard and early bird pickup scheduled times if he/she has a printed copy of your receipt for purchase.

8. What if I need to order additional uniforms throughout the year?
You can! Elect to have the order shipped to your home or sent to the school. Either way, there will be a 2 week processing time. A formal school uniform (NAVY BLUE EMBROIDERED POLO and khaki bottoms) is required for special events, such as award assemblies, fall pictures, field trips and group pictures. It’s always best to plan ahead and be prepared! Unfortunately, we are unable to accommodate rush orders.

9. What if I need to make a return/exchange?
Please be sure to take your child’s measurements and view the sizing charts before ordering each item. For returning Bryant families, know that all polo brands/sizing are the same. The embroidered tee and spirit tee is a new dry blend 50/50 that should shrink less than the previous tee. Take your child's measurements and check out the sizing chart to ensure the correct sizing on these tees and all items. A rack with all uniform shirts will be available during the pickups on August 1st, 6th and 15th. If you stop by our August 1st pickup, you can view the sizing and then place your subsequent order for delivery at Open House! Sometimes errors can happen, so we urge you to contact uniforms@bryantpta.com to arrange for a return or exchange.
