BOOSTERTHON Michelle Zabrucki, Susan Schaub, Ruth Wade Boosterthon is more than an elementary school fundraiser; Boosterthon is more than a walk-a-thon. With the Boosterthon Fun Run, the STUDENT IS THE STAR! Imagine a program that wraps FITNESS, LEADERSHIP, and CHARACTER together in an unforgettable experience tailored for our school. Our students learn that FITNESS IS FUN as they prepare for Boosterthon Fun Run. CHARACTER LESSONS come to life as Boosterthon Fun Run team members creatively illustrate INTEGRITY, HONESTY, AND CARING. Students also learn about what it means to be a LEADER during the nine day experience! With the Boosterthon Fun Run, there is nothing to sell and no door-to-door soliciting. Students help their school simply by gathering pledges from friends and family. Sponsors can pledge a per-lap amount or flat donation. The lap average for all students on the day of the Fun Run is 25-35 (the lap cap is 35). For example, if a family friend pledges $1.00 per lap, that would be a tax deductible gift to the school of $25-$35. EVERY STUDENT IS INCLUDED, regardless of whether they choose to collect pledges or not.
